Before using NAIST's digitized materials, you must submit a written pledge to abide by copyright laws.
If you violate the pledge, disciplinary measures may be taken.
Please handwrite the form and submit at the counter (2nd floor of the library),
or send email with attached file. E-mail address is below, "contact information".

Once you have submitted your pledge, you can use NAIST's digitized materials for the duration of your enrolment, so you do not need to submit your pledge more than once.

Application for using materials in the stack room [PDF] | [Word]
If you want to retrieve materials in the stack room “Library stack” or “Library stack 2”, please fill out the form and come to the counter service desk in service hours. (weekdays 9:00-12:00, 13:00-17:00)
We are accepts requests to retrieve paper materials from the stacks via email.
Please attach the application form and send it via NAIST domain e-mail.

Materials will be completed loan process and be placed in the reservation locker within one week. The journals cannot be borrowed. Please use in the library and return to the book cart.
AV materials or microforms are not covered by the mail order. Please ask the service desk.

If you want to retrieve following theses/dissertations, please fill out the form and notify the library at least one day before the day on which you want to view the thesis/dissertation.
(1) Doctoral dissertations which are not dizitiged.
(2) Doctoral dissertations which have not been published via internet.
(3) Master's theses with the permission of an author.
Application for viewing video materials [PDF]
The library collects foreign films on DVD and their screenplays with Japanese translations.
Please apply at the service counter to check out.
Some of them are internal use only.

For resesrvations, please fill out the form and come to the counter in service hours.
Visitors only cannot use Multimedia Lounge or Theater Lounge.

The NDL Digital Collections enables a user to search and view a variety of digital materials collected and stored by the National Diet Library of Japan. Please apply for those services at the Service desk during weekdays (9:00-12:00, 13:00-17:00)
