NAIST Online Catalog allows you to search materials in the collection of NAIST.
  • Search articles of CiNii Research, CiNii Books, and discovery service (CDI) at once using the same search keywords.
  • Re-search with faset.
  • Search in natural language from library top page.
CiNii Books
CiNii Books is a system for searching the union catalog database of books and journals held by the libraries of universities and other institutions.
When you access CiNii Books on campus network, or login the system,
  • Appear the link to NAIST Online Catalog
  • Appear the link to NAIST-SFX (link resolver).
    You can check the material is available or not.
    If NAIST library don't hold the material, NAIST members can order photocopy request and inter library loan service with bibliographic metadata entered. (Need to login)
NDL Search
NDL Search allows you to search for materials and digital materials held by the National Diet Library.
You can also search for materials held by libraries in Japan with which has data linked.
When you make user resistration for personal use, you can order fhotocopy request to NDL, and use digital materials more extensive.

Nara Prefectural Library and Information Center OPAC
Internal users can search materials in the collection of Nara Prefectural Library and Information Center.
NAIST members can borrow books with free shipping, delivering once a week.

National Diet Library Digital Collections
The NDL Digital Collections enables a user to search and view a variety of resources, collected and stored by the National Diet Library of Japan.
To view or copy materials "Available with Digitized Contents Transmission Service", you have 3 ways.
  • Make user account and agree to the Terms of Service, you can access "Digitized Contents Transmission Service for Individuals" with your pc tablet or other device.
  • Visit NAIST library and using "Digitized Contents Transmission Service for Libraries".
  • Visit the National Diet Library. (all contents available)
If you want to access at NAIST Library, please apply at the service desk.
* Service hours: weekdays 9:00-12:00, 13:00-17:00
* NAIST members only (non member (visitors, graduates, etc) are out of service))
