To printout from client PCs in the library, you can use the Multi Functional Printer (MFP) in the library. You can not use the MFP from your own laptop or tablet. From client PCs, you can not access another network printer on campus. To printout in the Library, your NAIST ID card is required for both b/w mode and color mode. |
Printout from the client PCs | ||
1) To print out, open the print dialogue and select [mfp-dlnav1_2021] at the [プリンターの選択] (Select the printer). Click [プロパティ(P)] (Properties) or [詳細設定(R)] (Advanced settings) button. |

2) Change to color mode [白黒] (monochrome printing), then click [OK] button, and select [印刷] (print) button on the print dialogue. * The default mode is color printing. |

Attention: If the error message「カードリーダーにアクセスできません」(It cannot access to the card reader) appears, check [以後、エラーを表示しない] (Don't show this error message again.) and click [続行](Continue) |

3) As a authentication-dialog box is open, enter your MANDARA ID into the box [User ID] and click "OK". | ||
パスワード (Password) or ドメイン (Domain) or Account ID is null. A print-job isn't spooled if you don't enter your account or if you enter the invalid account. |

Operation of the MFP | ||
4) When the panel of the MFP is darkened, push the power button near the panel and recover operation. | ||

5) Set your NAIST ID card on the card reader. IC-card readers are on the right side of MFP. | ||

6) Printout the documents you sent. You can change the languege setting to "English" on the MFP. | ||

Push the [ストップ(stop)] (Stop printing) button of the MFP. If you have sent other jobs, they will start printing. |

Click [詳細設定(R)] (Advanced settings) button on the print dialogue, then put a check「画像として印刷」(Print as image), and print a PDF file. |

The MFP finished printing and no printer job on the printer server. Please send a print job from a client PC again. All print jobs will deleted automatically after 24 hours. |

This message will be displayed if your University ID card is not registered in the printer identification server. If you have lost your University ID card in the past, this error might occur because the card number has changed. Please ask at the sercice desk. |
