Subscribe to Open (S2O) In 2026 S2O 6 journals are continue to open access. Since 2025, these 6 titles are under ASM's S2O (Subscribe to Open) model. Authors at subscribing institutions will benefit from uncapped publishing in these journals without incurring article processing charges (APCs). Page charge and supplemental material fee discounts are available. NAIST subscribes two titles.
