doctoral students must make their theses/dissertations accessible via Internet within a year after receiving their doctoral degree.
Be sure to submit the consent form for digital archiving to the administrative office of your graduate school by the due date.
In the submission system, you can choose the release date from "Immediately", "1 year later" or "Apply to postphone (more than 1 year)".
Please consult with your supervisor prior to the submission.
If there are reasons for postponing open access for longer than one year after receiving your doctoral degree, you should apply to postpone digital archiving of the thesis/dissertation. For your exact procedure, see "Digital archiving of doctoral theses/dissertations via Internet"
All students must submit their theses/dissertations whether applying for postponement or not.
If your application for postponement of digital archiving is approved, we will not release your thesis/dissertation via internet until the reason preventing open access has been resolved. After the reasons for postponement are resolved, please notify NAIST Digital Library immediately and consent to the digital archiving of your thesis/dissertation via internet.
We need your agreement for releasing your master's thesis on the NAIST DL web site.
The agreement forms are available at the administrative office of your graduate schools.
Please fill in the form and submit it to the office. We will release your master's thesis based on the agreement.
