授業アーカイブIn this presentation, I will introduce two of my previous studies; 1) method development for estimating human brain functional networks from multimodal non-invasive neuroimaging data and 2) characterization of the dynamics human brain functional networks using network analysis methods. The first study applied state space modeling and variational Bayesian techniques to the estimation problem. Our method allows reasonably estimating distributed current source activities and their directed functional connectivity across the whole brain, from Magnetoencephalography (MEG), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and diffusion MRI data. The second study focused on temporal fluctuations in the modularity of human brain functional networks measured with resting-state fMRI data. This study demonstrated how global patterns of functional connectivity change while fluctuating modularity and the extent to which simulation of large-scale brain activity can replicate our empirical findings.
