Indonesia is mega-diversity country that has man bio-resources. Among this only limited number had been utilized for human health and beauty. The established utilization of bioresources in Indonesia is by using Jamu, an Indonesian traditional medicine. Screening the Indonesian bio-resources for new and more valuable utilization is needed. Screening process started by exploration and continue with screening the biological activity. Standardization of the most prospective plant is important step to do before use the plant in the final product. Finally, to utilize the prospective bioresources, formulation the product is needed. Database of plant, its active ingredient and its activity is used to formulate the product. One of product that had been develop from database is Gluko R1, the formula for anti-diabetics.
