バグ予測は長年研究されている重要な研究テーマである。開発の早い段階でバグを予測することで、効率よくバグ修正に集中することができる。ソフトウェアリポジトリから収集できる履歴メトリクスが有用であることが、近年多くの研究で発表され注目されている。本講演では、近年の研究成果を概説し、実用的な課題に向けた講演者の取り組みを紹介する。Bug prediction is one of the traditional and important research topic in software engineering. Once bugs are predicted in source code at an early phase of development, developers can effectively focus their efforts on such code. One of the recent findings in bug prediction studies is the usefulness of historical metrics, which can be collected from software repositories. In this talk, I first discuss the recent bug prediction studies, and then I will talk about my work for addressing practical issues.
