Abstract

The latex of Euphorbia acrurensis yielded, in addition to the widespread
triterpenes euphol and euphorbol as the major components, two ingenol
esters and nine lathyrane derivatives as minor components. All the
lathyrane diterpenes were esters of ingol, and five of them were new. The
structures were established with the aid of spectroscopic methods.
