電子ジャーナル利用時のブラウザの先読み機能停止について / Prevent too much access due to the look-ahead function of web browser

図書館利用者各位

　電子ジャーナルでは、通常の利用を超えたダウンロードは禁止されています。
不正利用をしていない場合でも、ブラウザの先読み機能によりシステマティックな大量ダウンロードとみなされ、利用を停止されるケースが発生しています。
　電子ジャーナルをご利用の際は、ブラウザの先読み機能をOFFにしていただけますよう、ご協力をお願いいたします。
　また、手動であっても、雑誌の1号分の論文をすべてダウンロードする行為が大量ダウンロードとみなされた例もあります。不正利用による利用停止は個人だけでなく、大学全体及ぶこともあります。
　電子ジャーナルの公正な利用にご協力ください。


先読み機能の停止方法 (2022.7現在)

【Microsoft Edge】
　右上にある「…」（横の３点：設定など）から「設定」
「Cookieとサイトアクセス許可」を開き、「Cookieとサイトデータの管理と削除」
「ページをプリロードして閲覧と検索を高速化する」をオフにする

【Google Chrome】
　右上にある「…」（縦の３点：GoogleChromeの設定）から「設定」
「プライバシーとセキュリティ」を開き、「Cookieと他サイトデータ」
「ページをプリロードして、閲覧と検索をすばやく行えるようにする」をオフにする

【FireFox】
　URL欄に「about:config」と入力してEnterキーを押す
　「注意して進んでください！」という警告ページが表示された場合は、「危険性を承知の上で使用する」をクリック
　「すべて表示」
　コンフィグ画面の「network.prefetch-next」の値が「true」になっていたらダブルクリックし、「false」にする

【Safari (Mac)】
　メニューバーの「Safari」から「環境設定」を開き、「検索」タブの「バックグラウンドでトップヒットを事前に読み込む」のチェックをはずす

To Library users:

Systematic downloading is prohibited in e-journals.
The look-ahead function of web browser may be treated as a bulk download, and it may be stopped accessing all journals of the publisher.
When you access e-journals, please uncheck the look-ahead function of your browser, not to be considered systematic downloads.
Even manually download, it will be treated a mass download to download all articles of one issue, and all access rights of the publisher may be suspended not only you but also all NAIST members.
Please cooperate in the fair use of e-journals.


How to uncheck look-ahead function　(as of July 2022)

[Microsoft Edge]
Click 3 dots (top of the right side), select Settings.
Click 3 bars (top of the left side), select Cookies and site permissions.
Click Manage and delate cookies and site data.
Uncheck Preload pages for faster browsing and searching.

[Google Chrome]
Click 3 vertical dots (top of the right side), select Settings.
Select Privacy and security, and click Cookies and other site data.
Uncheck Preload pages for faster browsing and searching.

[FireFox]
Type about:config in URL field and enter key.
　If you see a message of Proceed with Caution, click Accept the risk and continue.
Click "Show all".
　See "network.prefetch-next", if it is "true", double-click and change "false".

[Safari (Mac)]
　Open Safari and click "Preferences" in the pulldown menu of safari, at menu bar, the top of the screen. Click Search icon and uncheck "Preload Top Hit in the background".
