Interlibrary loan / Photocopy request
- You can order photocopies of articles from periodicals, or selected pages of books from other libraries.
- You can order 24 hours a day, but we will respond it weekdays 9:00-12:00, 13:00-17:00.
Notifications
- Interlibrary Loan service is available to faculty, staff and students, including auditors and research students.
- Mandara account ID of NAIST is required.
- The photocoping fee varies from library to library.
- Copies will be delivered on paper.
- Please select the expense type, public or private.
- To students : You can use public expenses only if you get permission from the faculty member of your laboratory. Please check with the faculty of your laboratory before make requests.
- The photocopies will be charged 35-60 yen per sheet (black and white) + postage. (Handling charge may be added in some cases.)
- It takes about 1 week to obtain material. Wait period varies depending upon the lending library and materials requested.
- If you select "express delivery", additional fee is added.
- Color photocopies will be charged 100-200 yen per sheet. If you need color photocopies, please select "color" at the Copy Type.
- Please fill out the correct informations about the article you request. Otherwise it will take longer time to arrive.
- The copying of Library materials is subject to the Copyright Law.
- Your name, e-mail address, and the affiliation are not used for any purposes other than contacting you.
Before you make requests
- Please check the title you request with "OPAC", and make sure that it is not in the collection of the NAIST Library.
You can request photocopies of articles located in the stacks. Please write "located in the Stacks" in the memo field.
Notice of Arrival
- Public expense order -- Photocopies can be delivered to your laboratory post.
- Private expense order -- We will notify you by e-mail. Please come to the library to pick up the article and pay the fee. Payments can be made from 9 am to noon, 1 pm to 5 pm. (The end of the month until 3 pm, may close early at the end of fiscal year.)
