Sending Requests for The New Titles
About this service
- The Library welcome Requests for New Titles, useful to studens' study and learning.
Notifications
- Only Faculties, staffs and Students, including credited auditor and research students, can send requests.
- You need your account ID for the Mandara network system of NAIST.
- Request titles useful for students' study. Decision to purchase or not, will be made under Criterion for purchase.
- Titles out of Criterion for purchase will not be purchased.
- Titles not available in some reason (out-of-print, for example) will not be purchased.
- Please write recommendation about the title.
- User name, an extension number, and the affiliation are not application used for any purpose other than contacting you.
Before you make requests
- Please seach and check the titles in "OPAC", and make sure that it is not in the Library.
- You make request of the titles that you want in the Library.

Notifying the Decision
- The decision about purchasing the requested title are informed to the person who made the request by e-mail.
- The person who made the request can use the book first as a reserved book. The book is kept for reservation for 2 weeks.
- It usually takes about 40 days for Japanese books, 2months for foreign books after your request, to be available in the Library.
