| Abstract: | This paper reports on a second pilot experiment for the CADPRO project taking into account a number of the recommendations arising from the first pilot. Three subjects produced data flow diagrams and class diagrams in a usability laboratory setting. Characteristics of subjects' solutions are discussed and the usefulness of profiles of product delivery and constraint activations against time is determined. Reports are given of the current status of the CASEMaker tool, which is being developed for the main CADPRO experiment, and the current status of the experimental design. Many insights were obtained into what will be required to make future experimentation successful. A series of recommendations are made. |
